Workshop "Renewable Energy Development and Integration in the Mediterranean Region" - Algier, October, 24th-25th


October 25th Algiers - the workshop on “Development and integration of Renewable Energies in the Mediterranean region” has taken place for two days in Algiers (24th-25th), organized by the Technical Committee “International exchanges of electricity” and the Work Group “Economic studies and scenarios” of Med-TSO (the Association of the Mediterranean Transmission System Operators –TSOs- for electricity, operating the High Voltage Transmission Networks of 18 Countries) and supported by Sonelgaz.
The workshop was focused to illustrate the targets of the Technical Committee and the Work Group in the framework of the Mediterranean Project (a three-year lasting grant from the EU Commission - DG NEAR). The project focus is to improve the integration of the Mediterranean Power preparing a framework of rules and procedures subrscribed between all.

“Development and integration of Renewable Energies in the Mediterranean region” is the Med-TSO workshop organized by the Technical Committee “International exchanges of electricity” and the Work Group “Economic studies and scenarios” in Algiers (24-25 of October).
